Temenos, the banking software company, recently announced the winners of this year’s Temenos Partner Awards. For the second consecutive year, Cognizant was recognized for its continued role in successfully delivering key projects with Temenos.
The awards recognize the contribution that Temenos’ partners bring to the Temenos community, and their commitment to building a better future in banking. Over the past decade, Cognizant and Temenos have enjoyed a successful strategic partnership with 1,250 Cognizant consultants currently supporting Temenos projects.
“I am delighted to recognize Cognizant along with all our partners who have helped us to deliver a new bank implementation every day of this year,” said Alexa Guenoun, Temenos Chief Client Officer.
Cognizant’s proven success in modernizing legacy IT systems, together with Temenos’ combination of packaged model bank functionality with cloud-agnostic, cloud-native technology, brings an ideal proposition to banks embarking on digital transformation projects. The Cognizant team supports a number of ongoing projects for an increasingly diverse portfolio of mutual clients, including Close Brothers and Julius Baer.
In the Nordics, Cognizant was recently chosen as a strategic partner to three Finnish financial institutions – Savings Banks Group, Oma Savings Bank Plc and POP Bank Group. The mission is to build and operate a shared core banking platform to enable their digital transformation plans.
