Cognizant Snapshot Breakfast - Artificial Intelligence - the key to new digital ecosystems

Date: 23 February, 2017 Time: 8:00 am - 10:00 am Location: Cognizant's office, Linnégatan 87D, Stockholm

Research meets business on the road to future smart AI solutions.

AI is now on almost all digital agendas and is expected to be the big game changer in the coming years.

But with great potential and a brand new digital concept there will also be issues and challenges that require their answers: What is meant by autonomous Engineering? How proficient are today’s chatbots? What is adaptive intelligence and what is the latest in international AI-initiatives? How do you run a secure AI-development through scenarios and advanced testing – and how to enforce balance between man and the smart machine? Major challenges but also unprecedented opportunities!

Meet our experts and pioneers in an initiated talk on this year’s hottest topic – artificial intelligence, AI.

08.00 – 08.30  The best breakfast in town is served for you

08.30 – 09.30  Lars Frösslund from Cognizant moderates our hyper interesting program:

AI is here – or …?
Fredrik Heintz, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science at Linköping University

According to media, AI is here to solve all our problems. Is it true? Where is the research and innovation in AI today and where are we heading? Fredrik Heintz conducts research in AI and autonomous systems and provides you with exciting insights not only in AI research but also on how this affects the strategies for development and testing.

From Disney to real social AI – future’s is on its way…!
Preben Wik, Director of Market Creation and Collaborations, Furhat Robotics

By incorporating social AI to include interpretation of patterns of movement, vocal pitch, tempo, etc., new robots become intelligent participants acting in the room, in front of a customer or in a service situation – so called co-presence. With social AI totally new steps towards digitized services are taken – and interest has been shown from corporations such as Disney and KPMG. Listen to Preben Wik to understand the potential in AI and intelligent interaction between man and technology and take the opportunity to meet a “living” Furhat!

With AI at the doctor – speed, accuracy and flexibility.
Siren Hofvander, CSO, Min Doktor

How can AI revolutionize health care – and also maintain the integrity of the patient? What will AI-driven technology enable and what will the physician then be able to focus on? And what role does testing play for the future of healthcare technology? MinDoktor – the health care app with a patient-driven vision that is about accessibility, flexibility, speed and accuracy – which already from the outset was going AI and where AI has an increasingly essential role in future development. Meet Siren Hofvander and her image of an incipient revolution in the future of healthcare.

2016 has been the Year of the Robot. Will 2017 be the year of Artificial Intelligence?
Bart van der Mark, Head of Intelligent Automation Europe, Cognizant

During 2016 the adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) has been booming and this will continue over the next couple of years. Many companies now wonder how Artificial Intelligence (AI) fits in to this journey and common questions are: “what are the key differences between RPA and AI?”, “which parts of AI are already fact and what is fiction?”, “where are companies already applying AI?” and what are typical do’s and don’ts in AI?”. Listen to Bart to get the answers to these questions and more.

09.15 – 09.30 Paneldiscussion with the sharpest takeaways

09.30 – 10.00 Welcome to continue the conversation with our heavy weight experts
